Jeff Hoffman is a laid off tool and dye maker from Harley-Davidson. He spoke at the Milwaukee kick-off on Day 1 of the tour.

Kurt Zunker is the president of AFSCME Local 882 representing Airport, Highway, Facilities, Fleet, Parks and Zoo employees.

Sheila Cochran is the secretary treasurer of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council. She spoke at the Milwaukee kick-off on Day 1 of the tour.

Dexter Keys was born and raised in Milwaukee where Iron Mountain permanently laid him off after 15 years on the job. “Since being laid off, I have lost my car and am struggling to make my rent,” says Keys. “The government and employers need to know that there are a lot of good workers out here. We have to work together to get out of this crisis. All of us need to get out of this.”

Craig Oliver is a community activist from Milwaukee encouraging a coalition of the entire working class, uniting across race and immigration status. He supports immigration reform as a worker rights' struggle.

Alejandra Acevedo is speaking on behalf of her brother, Omar Damian Ortega, who is an immigrant worker and welder in Milwaukee. When he filed a workers’ compensation claim for a back injury with West Bend Mutual Insurance, the company investigated his immigration status, and used “identity theft” charges against him in order to avoid paying the workers’ compensation claim. Sign the petition to West Bend and tell them to stop undermining workers' rights.

The Voces delegation arrived in Cincinnati for an event at Su Casa Hispanic Ministry on Friday.

The Evansville, Ind., Whirlpool plant is planning to fire all of its employees and move operations to Monterrey, Mexico by June. More than 1,100 people will lose their jobs. It is essential to form a coalition among all workers to fight back against injustices like this. It is not the workers in Monterrey who are in the board room making decisions. The blame must be shifted to rest squarely on the backs of upper-level management in corporations like Whirlpool. And, as the Main Street on the Move Tour has shown, the blame must also fall on Wall Street bankers and the government.

Heyra Avila is a 14-year-old leaving for D.C. from Cincinnati.

Father Jorge Ochoa gave a blessing at the Cincinnati event at Su Casa Hispanic Ministry.

Yes, it's true...

Day Four - Washington D.C.

WELCOME ALL MARCHERS!

The gentlemen in the video walked 250 miles for the march.

The guy playing guitar is most likely Pedro Infante.
